Maisy's family birthday party.

I made her a doll cake which is

always super fun for a little girl!

I've made them for all of our girls

through the years and got the idea from my

Mother-in-law after she made Alissa her very first

Barbie cake. The skirt is made of poster board, then frosted.

MAISY'S FAIRY BIRTHDAY PARTY

This is the first friend birthday party Maisy has ever had and she was so excited to have a fairy party. She counted down the days to her birthday the whole month of April. All the little girls were so sweet! We had a lot of fun and hope that they did also. (Be sure to click on the collages to see the pictures and words bigger.)

After decorating their wands we went outside to play fairy freeze tag and fairy dancing freeze. For the freeze tag they were able to run to one of the two fairy hideaways for a moment of safety. They are all such cute little girls!

Next, was time to dance like fairies to beautiful music.

Then when the music stopped they were supposed to

freeze in a beautiful pose.

I love Myra's expression. She may have wanted to twirl

and dance with Dayna. So cute!

The teenage fairies were super helpful. They even twirled the little fairies as they danced! Such nice big sisters and friend. (Rachel)

After working up an appetite from all the dancing

and running around it was time for each

of them to decorate their own cupcakes.

Then they each got a candle which we lit

and finally sang happy birthday!

EASTER WITH COUSINS

Sami went to the Ellis' house to visit them.

Samantha and Abby's trip to Utah.

Because they were flying stand-by

their original 4 hour lay-over turned

into 10 hours! And there was a chance

they were going to have to just fly back

home that day. But fortunately they made it.

While Aunt Jo, Abby and Chloe were in Chicago, Atticus stayed with us.

Aaron and Maisy had a lot of with their cousin.

I'm finally posting the last part of Abby and Chloe's trip

to Chicago. Mary Poppins! They said it was awesome and

that the special effects were incredible.....no "magical."

So they recommend it for anyone going to Chicago to see

a show. You won't be disappointed! Abby and Chloe say

"Thank you, Aunt Jo, for a fantastic, memorable, fun trip!"

You'll have to ignore the phone ringing though.

Samantha and Abby flew out to Utah and went to the Saturday morning session of conference with Blake and his companion.

(Don't worry... he had permission from his mission President.)

Also, Vance, Halee and her (and Sami's) friend Jordan. (He is a dancer in High School Musical 3.)

Jordan actually drove them. He also is going to be featured in an issue of The New Era.

He plays the piano and maybe sings also.

Aunt Jo brought them all lunch after the first session. Then Blake and his companion had

someone to meet for the next session.

They had a great time!

I have sooooo many more pictures to add from the last couple of weeks.

For now here is a few.

Aunt Jo Had to go to Chicago for a convention so she came out early and came to visit us. She took Abby and Chloe with her to Chicago and they had sooooo much fun!!

She took them to have their make-up done.

They ate at the famous Ed Debevic's. They laughed and laughed.
This is the place that the server's act rude and put-out
that they are having to wait on you.


They loved the lego store.

I just had to take a picture of Aaron sitting with his class,

since it is the first time this year he has done it.

He did a good job braving the long distance from me.

(Maybe 5 feet)haha.

But he wanted a lollipop before church and so I told him

yes he could have one after church if he stayed in his class

and singing and sharing time. He said, "Okay, I will."

He did have some tears when he got in his classroom, but the

teachers did a good job of reminding him of his incentive waiting for

him at home. So, Yay, I finally found something that he really

likes well enough to kind of work for it.

But actually this was on the 8th and he just couldn't bring himself to

do it another week,(the 15th) but hopefully, he will try again this coming Sunday.(the 22nd)

Maisy and Christine decided to play "beach" so for a beach

you need cups of water with straws and a towel. Of course

Aaron had to join them and loved looking at the ants.

Christine is Maisy's friend from across the street.

She is a little more than a year younger than Maisy.

I took advantage of the 70 degree weather to go to the park with

a number of women from church. The kids had a lot of fun.

It was very windy so it felt cooler and 70 degrees. Beautiful day!

It was a really good turn out. I think we all have cabin fever.

WE LOVE YOU!

18 years old

Samantha is 18 years old! She went out to eat

with Karly and some other friends.

I didn't know he knew how to make one, but as

soon as I suggested it he imediately layed down

and started making it.

Aaron made it outside Jared was done, but Aaron

still wanted to help finish the job.

Ta-da! All done! Maisy even wanted a baby snowman.
